Creative Arts Studio
In 1999, we opened a paint-your-own-pottery studio called Ready, Set, Paint! in Novi Michigan. Pottery painting projects were offered to artists of all ages. As the studio grew, so did our creative offerings. Soon mosaic art and beading, followed by wheel throwing and glass fusing were added. In 2003, we changed the name of our studio from Ready, Set, Paint! to the Creative Arts Studio to be more reflective of our diversified creative offerings. At this time a second studio was opened in Royal Oak, Michigan. Today, the Creative Arts Studio, now solely located in Royal Oak, additionally offers canvas and pallet board painting and wax hand-making to its creative menu. A retail shop in the front of the studio showcases and sells finished works of art, art kits and fashion jewelry.
Creative Arts Candy was borne out of our desire to elevate our look beyond an artist’s smock and paint-spattered jeans. With fun and affordable pieces in mind and color as our muse, we draw inspiration from our art studio; where we believe that creativity lies in each of us. We also firmly believe in the process of creating, and that it has as much value as the finished masterpiece.
So enjoy the process, experiment and be inspired to fearlessly flex your creative muscle -in art and in fashion- to create a style that is uniquely your own!
As we continue to grow Creative Arts Candy, we will add styles that are on-trend and others that are more timeless. It is our sincere hope that these are the accessories that you reach for again and again- and that each item will add that pop of color that will brighten your look and your day!
If fun and affordable fashion jewelry makes you happy, then you can buy happiness here!
